4. Where can I eat?
Perth has a wide variety of dining opportunities. You can walk to numerous restaurants within five minutes from the shop with a number of coffee shops and bakeries nearby for coffee and pastries. We can provide you with a list of local restaurants.
5. What hand tools should I bring?
Don't worry if you haven't got all of the tools listed under your course description, as we can provide a complete Student Kit for those starting out while they are here. If you do own tools on the list, please bring them along, in order that you will be sharpening, tuning and learning with your own equipment.
6. Where do I get wood for my course?
Many of our courses include all the required materials. For courses that require additional materials, we stock a variety of hardwoods for sale at market prices, or you may bring your own lumber. We ask only that material be clean and free of dirt, abrasive particles, finish, and fasteners before putting it through our machinery.
7. I am American - what do I need to cross the border into Canada?
Travel between Canada and the United States requires a valid passport. Processing of new US passport applications can sometimes take weeks. Please check the status of your existing passport, or make arrangements to initiate a new passport application at the earliest date possible.

8. I do not reside in North America – Do I require a Visa?
This answer will depend on your country of residence. Citizens of other countries should check their governments' policies and regulations. We would refer you to Citizenship & Immigration Canada at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp .

9. Do I require a Study Permit?
